Dayrell, a native of London, England has a rich history of player development and success within the Iowa Soccer community. Having spent many years working his way through the USSF educational process, while honing his abilities on and off the field, Paul has been able to create programming and a player development pathway that has has seen unprecedented success in Iowa. The long term player development approach has been a labor of love that has yielded many notable successes for teams, players and parents alike.

In 2013, while in Iowa City, Paul's 17U Girls made history becoming the first (and still only) team from Iowa to win a U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship Regional Title and represent Iowa at a National Championship.
​
In 2014, Paul's '98 ODP Boys won an ODP Regional Title and made it all the way to a National Championship Final, narrowly losing 1-0 to California in the final.
​
More importantly than any team success are the many players that have moved on to play at the next level, whether that be into an MLS Academy program or to continued education playing in college.
JON MANNALL

Mannall, a native of London, England has been
a part of the fabric of Quad Cities
Soccer for many years in his role as head coach
for both the Men and Woman at St. Ambrose as well as many years helping in the High School (North) and club environment locally. Mannall has coached the SAU women's team since 2003 and added the men's coaching duties in 2010. Mannall will provide an excellent resource in our college advisory program and help our players on their future journeys.

Tina has spent the past 18 years coaching at all
levels of youth soccer, including the Y program,
recreational younger ages and club select teams
up to 14U. Tina also spent many years assisting the Bettendorf High School Girls Soccer team and is a great addition for our aspiring young female players.

EMLYN JACOBY

St. Ambrose Assistant Coach

Jacoby, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa,
joined St. Ambrose University in the fall of 2010
as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach.
Jacoby also has years of coaching experience
working with players from all ages across the board. While in South Africa, Jacoby was heavily involved in youth soccer working at many youth clubs, local elementary and high schools. During his tenure in the States, he is actively involved with many local area high schools and soccer camps across the United States

ANDREW PIOTTER

Piotter, a Quad City native graduated from PV
High School in 2009, where he played Varsity
Soccer and captained the team his Junior and
Senior year. Piotter went on to play at Truman State for 4 years and returned to the Quad Cities to apply his trade as a Physical Therapist. Piotter works for Genesis and has been hands on with local college Augustana working directly with their athletes. His love of the game and love of the community are great combination for helping create the perfect environment for our young players to grow.

Sunday joins the Sporting Iowa East coaching staff from Drake University, where he spent the past year as an assistant coach. Sunday completed a decorated four-year playing career at Drake.
Sunday will be involved in all facets of the program, including helping with team operations, coaching teams and helping evolve the player development pathway.
An accomplished student-athlete, Sunday appeared in 72 matches for the Bulldogs and was a four-year All-MVC performer, garnering All-MVC First Team recognition his junior and senior seasons. Sunday also had unprecedented success at the youth level in Iowa, winning multiple state cup championships at the club level and making history leading Iowa's only ODP team to win a National Championship
Following his Drake playing career, Sunday was invited by multiple professional clubs, including Orlando City and Sporting KC, to continue his pursuit of a professional playing career. Sunday is a certified USSF coach with coaching experiences at various levels and has been involved coaching for many years, starting while still in High School working with youth programs in his local community.
Sunday will be heavily involved in our Academy thru 12U program year round and with both High School age boys and girls in the fall.

Sporting Iowa-East welcomes Miguel Carillo to the coaching staff. Miguel is a former Division I soccer player who has been involved playing and coaching almost his entire life. Miguel brings an energy and passion to the club that will benefit our players. His technical excellence will assist young players in in reaching their potential.
